Artist Oliver Nani invites you to a dialog about the nature of art.
Based on the project Stonefulness, which revolves around sculptures of impossibly balanced stones, he asks “what art is and where it comes from?”
Stonefulness is partly born from a heavy life crisis. Oliver Nani describes it as “a sort of existential overthinking, that left me in the deepest hole I have ever experienced. The work with Stonefulness became my way out of the hole. With the performance I rebuilt myself and my world, piece by piece, after having blown everything completely apart. Who would have thought that regular stones could have that power? In what sense is the whole thing credit to the stones, and in what sense could they have been replaced by paint, sound, or something completely different?”
The morning will begin with a short story about the project, after which participants are invited to reflect on the themes presented.
This morning briefing is in English.
Participation (including our delicious breakfast buffet) is free, but registration required.
