Teater Fluks, PerformanceAtelier Fluks (PAF)

Augustine Collective “revisited”
In the Fall of 2017 members of Augustine Collective were in Connections Residency at Performing Arts Platform, researching artistic and collective creation practices and forming the base for their project: MY PIECE.
Now – two years later – the collective is back in Aarhus, in a residency at Åbne Scene, getting ready to premiere MY PIECE, after 2 years of gradual creation: “This ongoing, participatory project developed during several creation phases in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Israel. Each encounter is a unique and special experience, leading us to the next event – pouring our interests from one show to the other.”
In this morning briefing Augustine Collective will share with us how the project has developed since the Connections-residency in 2017. How did the residency in Aarhus – and the encounters and relations created in this residency – influence the processes and the formulation of the project.

SEGÏA is a powerful and different concert experience. The traditional concert format is musically and visually explored when sound, texture and light merges into a narrative of the Nordic and the nordic cultural heritage. A scenic and musical tale of the Nordic inspired by the saga of Njal. A meeting between 5 composers, a designer, a lightartist, a string quartet. SEGÏA is a tribute to the merging of art forms – being different and revealing new aspects of each other.
Join us for this morning briefing at Performing Arts Platform when the artistic team will elaborate on their processes and choices creating SEGÏA in a dialogue with composer Niels Rønsholdt.
